of independent clubs.

How much discount will I receive?
The discount varies from club to club but are deatiled on each club page. Prices
vary from time to time.

What happens if I change my mind and want to cancel my
membership
Your membership will come into effect on your start date. You have the right to
change your mind and cancel your membership within 10 days of making your application
on the gym website (Cooling Off Period), provided you have not already started to
use the club. If you decide to cancel, any money you have already paid during the
Cooling Off Period will be refunded. If you decide to cancel your application, you
must notify the gym website by email and, if completed, you will need to notify
your bank to cancel the direct debit. If you do not cancel your application during
the Cooling Off Period you will be contractually bound to your health and fitness
club for the duration of your membership as set out in your health and fitness club's
terms and conditions.

Are there any offers on joint or family memberships?
Joint and family memberships will be shown where they are available. These don't

Who owns the gym website? The Gym Website
is owned by Health Force Ltd a specialist provider of discounted gym membership.
Established as a brand in 2001 Health Force pioneered online sales of gym membership
and is still the only company offering online sales across a range of gym operators.

How long will my discount last
Discounts are valid for the contract period of the membership. The club will contact
you prior to the renewal of your membership to advise of any change to your discount
or monthly payments.

Is my personal information safe?
We employ the following measures to protect the security of your information:
- We use firewalls to protect information held on our servers
- We also encrypt the personal information we send and receive from you, by means
of a 128 bit Secure Socket Layer encryption
Health Force Ltd is the data controllers of your personal information under the
Data Protection Act 1998.
We will use your personal information for the purposes of registration, service
provision, record retention and investigation of any complaints. Further details

Who collects my membership fee?
When you sign up via the Gym Website, you will be required to complete an online
application and to pay an initial fee. The initial fee is 1 months or 2 months membership
(depending on the club) plus any admin / joining fee where applicable. Your membership
details will then be forwarded to the relevant club and you will be required to
sign a Direct Debit Mandate when you attend the club for your induction. Where the
club is LA Fitness, your bank details will automatically be forwarded to LA Fitness
who will set up a Direct Debit automatically.

Do the clubs offer trial periods before I commit to buying?
The gym website does not offer trial periods for any participating clubs.

Why am I having trouble viewing the site?
The website has been designed to work at a variety of screen resolutions. Generally
a higher screen resolution (1024 by 768 and above) will provide a better experience.
The system can be used comfortably on resolution as low as 600 by 800.
The website is optimised for Internet Explorer 6.0 and above. However, users with
Mozilla 2.0 and above, can also successfully use the site. The site can generally
be viewed using other browsers - Opera, Safari, AOL, however, certain functionality,
texts display, images etc may appear different, and certain local browser settings
can also affect the way the site behaves. Those Mac users with Mozilla v2.0 and
above can also access the site.

What will I need to buy a membership online?
You need your credit or debit card details as you will be required to pay either
your first 1 or 2 months membership, and sometimes an admin / joining fee. You will
aslos need your contacts details and your date of birth. If you buy an LA Fitness
or Dragons membershuip you will also need your bank details as these will be forwarded
to the relevant club for them to set up a direct debit automatically.
