Gift Card terms and conditions
Welcome to the Health Club Gift Card website - in order to redeem your two week membership you will need to complete the following steps.
Activate your card: To activate your card please type in your card number and PIN number into the space provided on the website home page www.thegymwebsite.co.uk/gift the card number can be found on the back of your gift card below the “terms and conditions” and next to the peel off panel. Your PIN number is the four figure number under the peel off panel on the back of your card. Once you have typed in the card and PIN number into the relevant space on the website home page you will be to access the club search engine.
Chose a club: To locate a potential health club just type your post code or town in to the club search engine. You will see a map of the area you have chosen with map pins indicating participating clubs. Just glide your cursor over the map pins to reveal a club summary and click on the map pin and “view club details” for full details of the clubs facilities. There are hundreds of health and fitness clubs available on this site. Please identify the health and fitness club you would like to attend and take some time to review the facilities and that clubs terms and conditions.
Online form: Once you have settled on the health club that you would like to use then click on the “join now” button. A form will then appear on screen which you need to complete. This form captures your personal details such as: name; address; date of birth and the date you would like your two week membership to start. Once completed click on the “submit” button
Voucher: Once you have submitted your form a voucher will appear on your computer screen which you will be able to print off. To print your voucher your computer must be connected to a printer - just click on “file” on your tool bar and then click on print.
How to access your club: Please use your voucher to access your chosen club. Your voucher will include the name of the club you have chosen, your name and the period the voucher is valid for. Please note you may be asked for identification when you visit the club.
Induction: Before you can use your voucher you must go to the club and arrange an induction. This is a legal requirement. You will be shown around the club by a member of staff and have the equipment and facilities explained to you. You can go to the club and arrange an induction anytime during normal opening hours. Just go to the club, ask for the club manager and show your voucher.
Pre-Exercise Questionnaire: the club will ask you to fill in the pre-exercise questionnaire before using any facility of the club. Certain medical conditions may mean you need a medical referral and a specific exercise programme.
Health Force Limited is not responsible for any unauthorised use of the Gift Card.
Eligibility: To be eligible to redeem your gift card you must have a valid gift card and be 18 years or over.
Health Force’s role: Your health club may offer you a deal after your two week membership. Any contract that you enter into will be between you and the health and fitness club you have chosen. Health Force will not be a party to that contract. Health Force’s role in this process is to facilitate an introduction between you and your chosen health and fitness club. In assisting you with this introduction Health Force does not make any representation expressly or implied, that the businesses and companies stated in this website are of a particular nature or standard and are suitable for your purposes and does not constitute a recommendation, referral or otherwise. Health Force will not be liable to you for any costs, charges or losses sustained or incurred by you which arise either: directly or indirectly from your use of this site; or your contractual relationship with your chosen health club; or both.
General terms and condition for gift card:
1. Your gift card cannot be exchanged for cash.
2. The card is neither a credit, charge or cheque guarantee card.
3. The card should be treated as cash and the balance cannot be returned if lost or stolen.
4. Your card expires 12 months after purchase any remaining balance will be lost.
5. Health Force Limited makes no warranty regarding any good or services you receive.
6. Some premier clubs may restrict the number of visits in a two week period this will be indicated on the “club page”.
7. Your card has no value until it has been activated by a cashier or Health Force limited.
8. You cannot exchange your card for a two week membership; you must register online and print off a voucher to use to access your chosen club. See “online form” above.
9. Your gift card cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or added to a current membership.
10. Only one gift card can be used per person.
